Data Collection

xfinn does not collect any personal information. We do not:

Collect user data
Track your viewing habits
Use analytics services
Store any information on external servers
Share data with third parties

How the App Works

xfinn connects directly to your self-hosted Jellyfin media server using credentials you provide. All communication occurs exclusively between your Apple TV and your Jellyfin server.

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

Your Jellyfin server URL
Your authentication token (provided by your Jellyfin server)
Your playback preferences (quality settings, etc.)

Local Network Access

xfinn requests permission to access your local network. This permission is used solely to:

Discover Jellyfin servers on your local network
Connect to your Jellyfin server for media streaming

No data is sent outside your network unless you configure a remote Jellyfin server URL.

No Analytics or Tracking

xfinn contains no analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or telemetry systems. We have no way to know who uses the app or how they use it.

Third-Party Services

xfinn does not integrate with any third-party services. The only external communication is with your own Jellyfin server that you configure.

Children's Privacy

xfinn does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Since we do not collect any data, significant changes are unlikely.
